Kaleio Church Growth Scholarship
Church plant under 3 years old? Congregation facing financial hardship? Apply for 50% off for 12 months. Requires pastoral letter + 501(c)(3) verification.
Every feature below is available on every plan. Your tier determines how many members โ not what you can do.
Features that only apply to large multi-site operations.
Two fees apply to digital giving. Both are fully disclosed. Neither is hidden.
Stripe card processing
2.9% + $0.30
Per card transaction, charged by Stripe and deducted before the gift reaches your church. Standard across all digital payment platforms.
Goes to Stripe โ Kaleio collects nothing from this.
Stripe ACH (bank transfer)
0.8%, max $5
Stripe's fee for ACH bank transfers. Dramatically cheaper than card โ a $500 gift costs $4 via ACH vs. $14.80 via card.
Best for large or recurring gifts. Goes to Stripe.
Kaleio platform fee
0.5%
Same flat rate on every plan. Applied to digital giving processed through Kaleio. Billed monthly, separately from Stripe.
"Cover the fee" checkbox โ 65โ80% of donors absorb this.
Every plan, every feature. No ambiguity.
Yes. Every Kaleio plan includes the full feature set โ prayer wall, giving, attendance check-in, pastoral care, soul winning log, child check-in, volunteer scheduling, and everything else. You pay for the size of your congregation, not the tools you get access to. The only Kingdom-exclusive features are multi-campus management and district/zone hierarchy, because those are only relevant to large multi-site churches.
Every plan includes a 0.5% platform fee on digital giving processed through Kaleio. This is the same flat rate for every tier โ no sliding scale, no surprises. It's separate from Stripe's standard 2.9% + $0.30 card processing fee, which goes directly to Stripe. For ACH bank transfers, Stripe charges 0.8% (capped at $5), making ACH significantly cheaper than card for large gifts.
When a member gives digitally, they see an optional checkbox: "Cover processing fees for your church." It's pre-checked by default. Research shows 65โ80% of donors choose to cover fees when asked โ which can effectively make digital giving fee-free for your church.
Yes โ pay annually and save 20%. Multi-year options save even more: 25% off for 2 years, 30% off for 3 years. Example: Growth tier billed annually is $87/mo ($1,047/yr vs. $1,308 monthly).
You'll receive a notification as you approach your member limit. Upgrading takes under a minute and all your data, members, giving history, and settings carry over exactly as they are.
Yes โ we offer the Kaleio Church Growth Scholarship: 50% off for 12 months (renewable once) for church plants under 3 years old or churches with demonstrated financial hardship. Applications require a pastoral letter and 501(c)(3) verification. Apply at the bottom of this page.
Yes. All plans include free migration assistance โ we help you import your existing member directory via CSV. Kingdom plans include a dedicated white-glove onboarding call to set up your church profile, giving funds, schedules, and first reports.
ACH (bank transfer) giving costs significantly less than card: Stripe charges 0.8% capped at $5, vs. 2.9% + $0.30 for cards. A $500 tithe via ACH costs your church $6.50 total vs. $17.30 on card. Large and recurring givers strongly prefer ACH โ and when donors use the "Cover the fee" checkbox, the fee is absorbed by the donor either way.
Full access to your plan from day one. Your whole church connected by this Sunday.
